This explains what happens when you use AI Photo Styler at aiphotostyler.com. The tool does not require an account, payment information, or an email address.

When you choose a photo

Your browser checks and resizes your photo before generation. The normalized image is a JPEG with a maximum long edge of 1024 pixels. Canvas conversion removes the original file’s metadata from the image sent for processing. Selecting a file alone does not send it to the image-generation provider.

When you generate a style

After you select “Make it eighties,” our server uploads the normalized photo to temporary fal.ai storage and shares its retrieval link with SeeAPI for an automated content safety check. If the check passes, fal.ai generates your chosen style. SeeAPI also checks the generated photo before it is shown or made available for download. If either check flags the photo or cannot finish, we stop that request and return your personal free-photo slot. Cloudflare provides hosting and, when enabled, a Turnstile check to limit automated abuse.

Both processing providers receive access to images needed for their services. We request a one-hour lifetime for the temporary fal.ai upload, but this is not a guarantee that all provider copies or logs are deleted after one hour. SeeAPI’s retention of moderation inputs is not controlled by our retrieval window. Please review fal.ai’s privacy policy , SeeAPI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy before uploading sensitive images.

What our server keeps

Your input image is not saved in our application database. The database stores a generation identifier, selected style, status, hashes used to associate a job with its anonymous session and network allowance, and a provider result reference while retrieval remains available.

Completed images can be retrieved through this site for one hour. Private result references expire after that window. Limited, pseudonymous usage records may be retained for up to 35 days to enforce daily and monthly limits, prevent repeated submissions, and investigate technical errors. These records are not a public photo gallery. Infrastructure providers may also process connection and security logs under their own policies.

Your browser collection

The latest 10 completed photos and their original comparison images can be stored using IndexedDB in this browser. You can favorite, download or delete each photo. Favorites still belong to the latest-10 collection; they do not provide permanent storage.

The active generation is also saved locally so a refresh can check the same request. These records are not synchronized across devices or browsers. Clearing site data, using some private-browsing modes, or the browser freeing storage may remove them. Download any photo you want to keep. Deleting a browser photo removes the local copy; it does not issue a deletion request to fal.ai or SeeAPI or remove already retained usage records.

Cookies and the free allowance

An anonymous, essential session cookie lets the server return a result to the browser that requested it. A keyed hash of your network address helps enforce the free allowance. People sharing a network can therefore share a limit. The address is not displayed in the app or saved as plain text in the usage database. No account is created.

Turnstile, when enabled, processes information needed to verify legitimate use. Browser storage and the session cookie are needed for the editor’s core functions. This version of the site does not use an analytics tracker or advertising cookies.

Choose photos thoughtfully

Upload photos you own or have permission to use. Get permission from other people shown in a photo, particularly when uploading a child’s image. Avoid identity documents, financial information, medical records, private intimate images, or other sensitive material. AI results can change faces and other details.

Changes to this policy

If the way this service processes photos changes, this page will be updated. The date above identifies the current version.
