Your photos and permission

Only upload images you own or are permitted to process. You are responsible for having any necessary consent from the people shown. You give the service and its processing providers the permission needed to process an uploaded photo and return a result. The service does not claim ownership of your original photo.

If you are not legally able to agree to these terms, use the service only with a parent or guardian’s permission and supervision. Do not upload a child’s photo without the appropriate parent or guardian’s permission.

What the tool does

The current tool offers three eighties-inspired styles: 80s Family, 80s Studio, and 80s Street. It uses fal.ai to process your photo. Results are generated by AI and can change identity details, expressions, clothing, anatomy or the background. Review each image before using or sharing it. Example images illustrate a style and do not guarantee your result.

Downloads are JPEG images up to 1024 pixels on the long edge, with a small AI Photo Styler watermark. There is no paid plan or high-resolution upgrade in this version. A generated image should not be presented as evidence that a real event happened or that someone endorsed something.

The free allowance

Up to three successful generations are available per network per day, subject to availability. Pending generations temporarily reserve a slot. Confirmed failures release that photo slot; uncertain requests remain reserved until their outcome can be confirmed. A separate attempt limit prevents repeated failed requests from creating unlimited provider costs.

Daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Site-wide daily, monthly and simultaneous-generation limits also apply. People on a shared network may share an allowance. We may pause generation, change these limits or discontinue the free service. Do not evade limits, automate bulk submissions or interfere with other users’ access.

Acceptable use

Do not use this service to create or process unlawful material, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, deceptive impersonation, targeted harassment, or content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not attempt to access another user’s jobs, bypass security checks, extract credentials or disrupt the service.

SeeAPI checks uploaded and generated photos in addition to the generation provider’s built-in safety checks. Automated checks can miss unsafe content or flag a normal photo. The service does not promise that every input or output is individually reviewed by a person.

Saving your work

A result is available to retrieve from this site for one hour. When browser storage is available, the latest 10 results and comparison originals are saved locally. Favorites do not extend that limit. This is not an archival service or a cross-device account. Download the images you want to keep.

Availability and third-party processing

The tool is provided as available. Generation can be delayed, fail, or produce an unsatisfactory result. We cannot guarantee continuous availability, accurate likenesses, or a particular artistic outcome. Your use of third-party generated results must also comply with applicable rights and the relevant provider terms. Nothing here removes rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
